Reports for 2007 by Keith Casteel
 The first show of the year was the District 2 show held with the Great Western show in Watsonville, CA. There were a total of 54 birds entered with John Heppner doing the judging. Carl Rodegerdts won both Champion and Reserve Champion with two outstanding black young cocks. These two birds could hold their own with anybody. Carl also won the Yellow and Andalusian classes. Also Terry Bishop won his first class ever by winning the Red class. Way to go Terry. The club's second meet of the year was the District 1 show held with the Sand & Sagebrush Classic in Kennewick, WA. This District 1 show is normally our largest meet of the year, and we had 84 Americans shown. Judging was done by Keith Casteel. Champion was won by Ernie Silveri with another super black young cock. It's going to be very interesting if both Carl and Ernie show up to the same show with these two birds. Reserve Champion went to Dennis Bray with a nice Yellow with very good color. It lost out to the black by a hair. Ernie also won the Dun and Rare classes. Rod Koch won the Andalusian class and Brian Nichols took Best Red.

The next club meet was the District 3 show held at the Utah Premier in Salt Lake City. This has been our smallest meet so far this year with only 27 birds being shown. That's not to surprising as there just is not the number of breeders over there yet. The judging was handled by John DeCarlo Jr. Champion and Reserve Champion was won by Keith Casteel with a black old cock being Champion and the black young cock being the Reserve. Jim Jensen won both the Dun and Andalusian classes. Maybe we will have more birds next time.
Our last meet so far this year was the Can/Am meet held at the Northwest Winter Show in Puyallup, WA. The judge was Glenn Julian and we had 79 birds shown. Champion was won by Keith Casteel with a young red cock. Reserve Champion went to Ernie Silveri with another red young cock. At last something other than a black won this year. Keith also won the Black and Rare classes. Ernie also won the Dun class, and Rod Koch won both the Yellow and Andalisian classes.
We also had a Canadian meet with the Vancouver Fancy Pigeon Club in Abbotsford, BC. But I do not have the show report yet on this show, so I have no idea who won or anything else about the show.
